As a Senior Advisor at Sperry Van Ness, John Reeder specializes in the land development and investment market. Practice areas include land sales to residential and commercial developers, REO land sales, and the emerging solar land development market.
John has brokered transactions involving lenders such as U.S. Bank, Sterling Savings Bank, United Commercial Bank and Far East National Bank in land sales throughout Southern California including Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. In addition, he has also represented many of the leading firms involved in development of solar energy sites including industry leaders Cogentrix Energy, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, Silverado Power, and Fotowatio Renewable Ventures.
John’s previous industry experience includes being a project manager at a regional engineering firm, as well as being part of the acquisition and development team for a real estate syndication company.
